About This Blog

As a work-from-home mom of twins, I don't always have the time to spend in the kitchen. Thankfully, I've learned that many quick and easy recipes can still produce delicious food. I am not a chef and I have never taken any cooking lessons, but I do enjoy cooking and making good homemade food for my family.

This blog started as a way of sharing good and easy recipes with my family and friends. I've heard from them many times that they'd rather go out to eat or order in than cook their own meals because they just can't find the time to spend in the kitchen.

I used to feel that way. Then I started my search for easy recipes, and tried them out. Some recipes turned out okay, some did not taste very good, and some have surprisingly produced restaurant-quality food. Here in this blog I am only sharing the recipes that turn out well, of course!

I love cooking from scratch, but I have to admit sometimes I don't have the luxury of time to cook. That's when semi-homemade cooking comes to my rescue! I buy store-bought mixes in case of a time emergency or if I don't feel like spending too much time in the kitchen. Check out these semi-homemade food I made. Most of the times noone even notices that they are not made from scratch.

I didn't think I had a cooking talent at all but I keep getting compliments from the people I cook for, even strangers at my husband's office potluck party. I'm not going to lie. I love the compliments. I'm addicted even. They motivate me to keep cooking and keep finding great and easy recipes. Now more than ever, I am convinced that given the right recipes, anyone can cook.
