We decided to eat in for Valentine's Day this year because the snow was too thick outside. I made this Strawberry Spinach salad for my husband and he absolutely loved it! It is only less than a month later and I've made it twice per his request.
STRAWBERRY SPINACH SALAD
PREP TIME: 10 minutes
COOKING TIME: NONE
SERVINGS: 4
1 pkg (10 oz) fresh spinach (rinsed and dried)
1 quart strawberries, sliced
1/4 cup sliced almonds
For the dressing:
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup olive oil
1/4 cup vinegar
1/4 tsp paprika
1/4 tsp worchestershire sauce
2 tbsp sesame seeds
1 tbsp poppy seeds (optional)
DIRECTIONS:
1. Combine spinach, strawberries, and almonds in a salad bowl
2. Mix all dressing ingredients in another bowl
3. Pour dressing into the salad mix and toss well.
4. Chill 15 minutes before serving

Great salad! We also added bacon and feta cheese..very tasty!
